Eligibility Criteria for CM Punjab Laptop Scheme 2025
To ensure fairness, the government has outlined clear eligibility requirements for the scheme:
- University Students:
- Students enrolled in public sector universities of HEC-recognized institutions.
- First-year or second-semester students of 4-year BS/BSc programs.
- Students in master’s programs (first semester only).
- Minimum 65% marks in annual exams or 3 out of 5 CGPA in semester systems.
- Professional Colleges:
- Students in medical, dental, engineering, agricultural, and veterinary institutions.
- BDS, MBBS, and engineering students meeting the academic performance criteria.
- Matriculation Top Performers:
- Top 100 position holders from matric exams
- MS/MPhil/PhD Students:
- Enrolled in public sector universities with 60% or above marks (in the last annual exam) in case of annual examination system or 70% or above marks in the last exam in case of semester system and have not received laptops during the last year’s scheme
- Evening Program Students:
- Remaining eligible students from evening programs who missed laptops in earlier phases.
- Deeni Madaris
- laptops will be awarded to the students of “Deeni Madaris” via Auqaf Department after devising merit criteria subject to the approval by Chief Minister

- Students studying in public sector Universities/ Degree Awarding Institutes and sub-campuses duly recognized by HEC Eligible Universities List By HEC

How to Apply for the Laptop Scheme 2025
Unlike earlier phases, students do not need to apply directly for the scheme. The process has been streamlined to ensure transparency:
No process has been started by the government for registration yet, either All students who score more than 65% marks will be given marks or registration will be done through the official website laptop.pmyp.gov.pk and laptops will be provided to the students on the basis of merit.
